Bridal Must Haves

Have you ever heard of a wedding survival kit for brides? If you're a bride-to-be who overthinks everything or is extremely careful, this is for you! A wedding may be extremely stressful, even after months of meticulous planning. And, with so many things that can go wrong, it's important to be prepared. The wedding day survival pack includes all of the key bridal must-haves that can come in handy for those "oops" moments or simply to be prepared for circumstances beyond your control. Well, being prepared is never a bad idea, right? At LMW, we dedicate our time and efforts to bringing you the best possible insights. Here is a list of 8 bridal must haves that you must not skip bringing along with you on your big day.

Cotton pads and Tissues

Weddings can get emotional. But tissues are not just for wiping tears you see! Use them to blot excess oil or sweat off your face to ensure your make-up looks flawless and requires minimal retouching. tissues are one of the most fundamental items. Carry a packet of tissues in your bridal must-haves kit for quick wiping, dabbing, or cleaning. Tissues might also help you get through the day if you're an emotional bride. You should also keep a few moist wipes on hand to remove makeup stains. Along with the tissues, keep a couple cotton swabs / Q-tips on hand. Makeup remover and cotton swabs can be used to fix any last-minute makeup smudges.

Facial Mists

Weddings are hectic. Loads of people, constant greetings, flashing lights and so much more. This can leave you feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. This is where facial mists come in handy. They don't completely eradicate the exhaustion but can definitely leave you feeling refreshed. This may seem needless, but trust us when we say that carrying a face spray is essential. Weddings may be stressful, and you don't want it to show on your face, do you? A radiant bride appears to be worth a million dollars. Facial mists refresh you instantly while also keeping your skin hydrated throughout the day.

Keep those straws!

You might be wondering why a bride would require straws. After all, you don't want your lipstick to transfer or smudge in any manner after you've had your makeup done perfectly! Also, straws are the greatest way to keep your lipstick in place while drinking water or other beverages. How else would our lovely ride enjoy her beverages without ruining her lipstick? This is why we recommend a pack of straws or even better a metal straw in your bridal survival kit. It makes drinking water easier and hassle free. The best part is your lipstick stays intact.

Staying minty fresh

Using mouth fresheners on a regular basis is never a bad idea. It's best to have these on hand on your wedding day so you can keep your breath fresh. Furthermore, delicious cuisine with powerful flavours is a regular occurrence at Indian weddings. Keeping some mouth fresheners on hand and chewing on them discreetly will help you avoid the dreaded foul-smelling mouth. You do not want to greet your guests with bad breath do you?

Stay Hydrated

We cannot stress this enough. Staying hydrated on your wedding day is extremely essential. With all festivities going on, it is common to forget something as simple as drinking water. A well-hydrated bride is always energetic! So, pack a bottle of water in your bridal must-haves. It comes in super handy in case you feel your throat getting dry due to the wedding jitters.

First Aid Kit

Anything can happen at any time, whether it's a headache from a hangover or tension, or a few cuts and scrapes from your wedding shoes. It's usually a good idea to keep allergy meds, pain killers, and even antacids on hand. In case of blisters or a minor scrape, keep a few alcohol wipes or band-aids on hand. It's important to keep a tiny first aid kit just in case of any minor casualties.

Snacks for the bride

Nobody wants a bride who is irritable! With all of the nerves, excitement, and anxiety surrounding the wedding day, most brides end up skipping or missing meals. Even if you don't want to eat right before your ceremony, it's still a good idea to have a snack on hand. After all, you don't want to be concerned about being fatigued, fainting, or sick during the ceremony. Keep dry fruits and nuts on available, as well as granola snacks, energy bars, and glucose biscuits. A light snack is always a good idea.

Hair essentials

When it comes to fundamental necessities, having these on hand will never let you down. Extra hairpins will always come to your rescue if something unexpected happens, such as your ring being caught in your hair or your dupatta yanking on your hair and causing discomfort. With the hairpins, you can keep all of your baby hair and flyaways off your face. Keep a couple hairpins in your bridal must-haves kit, much like the safety pins. For quick fixes, bring a little dry shampoo or setting spray with you.
